The argument began with Brunson saying something anti-Clinton and Selbst chiming in. It ended with both poker players taking a shot at each other’s character in the gambling world.

Brunson referenced a controversial prop bet Selbst had this past summer at the World Series of Poker with Jason Mercier. Selbst responded, “Yeah, paying $100,000 [equals] welching. I doubt you want to start a debate about ethics in poker.”

The 83-year-old poker legend no longer competes at the WSOP, but he’s still a fixture in high-stakes cash games in Las Vegas. Selbst, 32, is a Yale Law School grad and the top female tournament earner of all time.
